Amazon.com Review
The Saitek P120 is a no-frills, no-nonsense game controller. Its sturdy design can take a beating and still perform time and time again. With four buttons, two triggers, and a comfy directional pad, the Saitek P120 is pleasantly ergonomic, with all of the buttons placed in easy reach.
One particularly nice touch is the P120's removable directional pad extension, which acts as a mini-joystick, making controlling the directional pad that much easier. Button response is quick, and the directional pad has perfect resistance. You'd be hard-pressed to find a comparable gamepad at this price.
Connecting to the 15-pin gameport plug, the Saitek P120 doesn't support USB. It doesn't include drivers, either, so installing the gamepad consists of manually configuring it using the Windows Control Panel. Once it's calibrated, it's ready to go. There are no game profiles or special configuration options here. Still, that doesn't detract from the Saitek P120's main ability--a durable grip and responsive control. This gamepad is sure to make your gaming life a little easier and more comfortable at a price that's sure to bring a smile to budget-minded gamers. --Dan Simpson

A Decent Game Pad
This Saitek controller is certainly a solid gamepad. The directional controller is a bit awkward, but you can get used to it. The action buttons are also a bit too stiff -- This pad is a decent deal for ten bucks, but the Interact Piranha is an overall better design (and cheaper).
The right price
I got this pad because it was cheap, it had the four buttons that I needed, and it was ergonomic. My hands are always very comfortable holding this controller, even when I've been gaming for the last few hours. The directional pad is very unique. There is a circular attachment that fits in the bottom of the controller to give you a standard d-pad. You can take this attachment out and plug it in to the center of the d-pad, making the d-pad higher and more like a joystick (as shown in the picture of the controller). I play with it almost exclusively like this. I haven't been able to use the triggers in the current EA Sports games that I've been playing, so count on four buttons. If you are looking for more options (buttons) in your games, I highly recommend upgrading to the six-button Microsoft USB Sidewinder Pro.
Great Action
When using this game pad for fast action racing, the response is excellent. I like to use the thumb stick that's included for racing, but the only problem is that the stick can become loosened if it's not put in well enough. When I finally screwed it in a bit hard it finally stayed. I've had a lot of fun with it.
