    Build Quality:
The build quality on this mouse is very good. First of all let me talk about the materials used. Although I do not know the proper name for it, the plastic is a very high quality soft plastic that almost has a rubbery feel to it. It is the same type of plastic that can be found inside of BMWs and is of the finest quality. The only exception is the red triple shot, dpi setting, and two alt buttons are made of typical crappy hard plastic.

This is a wired mouse, which I was quite opposed to since I find wires very annoying. But the wire actually is not. It is the thinnest mouse wire I have ever seen making it about half the thickness of a typical mouse's wire. Now this is a great thing because the wire is much more flexible than usual. This allows the moue to move around easily and not ever get held back by tugging. The wire allows the instantaneous latency of a wired mouse as opposed to the inaccuracy and the lag of wireless mice. Additionally, the connector is gold plated. This really doesn't make any difference at all, but it is a nice touch.

There are two stickers on the bottom of the mouse. The scroll wheel of the mouse is a lighter color and a solid or flashing LED or various colors informs you of the DPI setting. One of the stickers on the bottom has a color key code to identify the corresponding DPI setting. However the other sticker, which is a reflective sticker surrounding the laser hole is beginning to peal off on my mouse after 6 months of use. I would rip it off but my brother informed me that it is somehow essential to the tracking of the laser.

The feet on the mouse are nice, but I have had nicer. Additionally, it tracks great on any surface whether it is plain or decorated. I use it with a glass IceMat which I love wonderfully.

    Usefulness:
The red button is called the Triple Shot. It will activate the main mouse button (left click) three times very fast. This is a great feature for First Person Shooters. For instance, in some games a semi-automatic weapon will effectively become an automatic weapon by continually pressing the triple shot. Alternatively, it can be used to fire off three carefully aimed shots very quickly. But if a weapon has a slower refire rate it may only fire twice and no faster than you could have yourself. Additionally, the button is place a little too far forward making it a bit of a reach.

The DPI button is positioned perfectly. It allows you to easily change the DPI setting (sensitivity) in one click. Perhaps if someone was sniping and they wanted a less sensitive setting for the scope view. Or perhaps someone might prefer to have a lower DPI while doing normal computing and a higher DPI in gaming. The main advantage I found with this is it allows me to change the DPI setting without having to open any software windows. And furthermore, it allows me to change the DPI setting without even having to install the included drivers!

The two alt fire buttons on the side are well placed. I do however, have a hard time reaching the more forward button on the mouse and I have large hands. These buttons can be programmed though the included drivers or simply by going into the games control settings and clicking change key and pressing the alt fire button - which is the way I did it.

I choose not to use the included drivers because I did not want another program running in my system tray and the mouse works great with the standard windows drivers for input devices. However, the drivers do allow for macro commands. This means that you can program alt fire to execute a sting of hotkeys and mouse clicks. For instance, Alt 1 could be programmed when pressed to do a G and then left click and then G again and then left click again. In this example it could (depending on the game) pull out a grenade and throw it and then pull out another grenade and throw it - which would effectively cause your player to simultaneously throw two grenades by pressing one button. I'm sure there are many more uses to the macros but I chose to not use this feature and avoid the drivers.

    Overall:
I love this mouse and it is much better than others I have used. As a note it's not as large as some other mice but I have large hands and don't have any problems with it. It is not ergonomical. Left handed gamers could use this mouse as it's basically the same either way. Although, there is a rubber thumb grip on the left side which may be unappealing to left handed users.

I highly recommend this mouse to all gamers alike. Although the cost might be to high to some users, I believe that anyone spending a lot of time on their computer could appreciate this mouse whether they are a gamer or not. But most importantly this mouse really helped me to get a better kill to death ratio and improve my game! This mouse is a must have to any serious gamer!

    Excellent!5
Fantastic mouse! There is not a single aspect of this mouse that I dislike. The fit, finish, and design have all been flawlessly executed, and the mouse is exceptionally pleasing, both ergonomically and aesthetically. A button located behind the scroll wheel allows you to cycle through 6 different DPI settings, with the current DPI being indicated by the color of the scroll wheel backlight. The "triple-threat" button is the reason I bought this mouse, and it has performed wonderfully well. I play COD4 online, and now my favorite rifle (H&K G3) has the ability to fire in 3-shot bursts with deadly accuracy each and every time I press the perfectly positioned, studded orange "triple-threat" button. The software is easy enough to use, and although I doubt I'll have the desire to use any of the advanced settings it's nice to know that they're there, should I be so inclined. As icing on the cake, the mouse came with 8 extra gliders. In summation, this is both the least expensive and best peripheral I have ever purchased; it's a true bargain, and in my opinion OCZ could charge twice as much for this mouse and it still would be a fair price.

    It's alright.4
This is the first gaming mouse i bought, so of course I was like oh this is hot. But as i start to play with it I had problems since you can only up the DPI then keep pressing it to start it back over since it has 6 different dpi settings. So yea if they made a way you can change the dpi so you can back up would be nice other than that i gave it a 4/5 xd.
