You have all the tools you need to get the job done--Abrams tanks, F-15 Strike Eagles, Wasp Class assault carriers, you name it. Hit the enemy with everything you've got. An exclusive Battlefield 2 headset by Logitech is included as a free pre-order bonus.

WARNING: BF2 HEADSET, NOT GAME
I bought it at the local shop knowing that it was a headset. It logically wasn't the game (cause u can't buy it for $10) and I broke my old headset so I thought Cool! headset with BF2 Logo on it!, bought one, very good quality, mic is clear and seems like noise canceling since background noise isn't there despite air conditioner running two meters away. Sound is all good. my gripe with it is that there's no volume control. very comfortable though and who doesn't love battlefield 2?
No game, only headset!!!!!
I pre-ordered this game like everyone else cause I was going to get a cool free headset with the game, and that was all that was delivered to my home! No game, just a "free" $50 headset.
You know that excited feeling when you get something that you've been waiting for, for a very long time, and you see it on your doorstep? Well that was ruined for me when I could'nt find the game that I ordered in its box. It only made it worse that they made the headset box look exactly like the actual battlefield 2 box.
I do remember that when I pushed the pre-order button it said "battlefied 2 (with) pre-order bonus", not some confusing premotional code and shopping cart thing.
Amazon should act fast with this mistake, or there's going to be A LOT of angry gamers out there.
Amazon really messed up!
I too received a headset with no game. I got an email telling me today that I have to reorder the game and now will get it next week. The instructions on this detail page weere not there when I preordered on May 23rd!!
The whole reason I pre-ordered was so I could get the game as soon as possible, not I have waiting until next week! I wish I had just got it at a local store. Why didn't Amazon figure out this problem ? I am very upset.
Nice flashdrive
This was a free USB flash drive since I got the Battlefield 2142 game. It does look nice and came with great previews on it. I don't really use it cause it only holds 64MB, I just carry it on my laptop bag and it looks cool.
Good looking, Low capacity
It's a good looking flash drive. It has a nice "dog tag" effect to it. It's very comfortable, and looks awesome.
The only problem with it, is that is has a very small storage capacity. 64Mb isn't much, particularly when it's already filled with links and lame trailers for a couple upcoming games.
The flash drive has not failed me yet, it's a nice thing to put your saved games on, and strangely gives you that extra adrenaline rush you need while playing Battlefield 2142.
Neat freebie; don't buy
This little flash drive is neat, works well (no technical problems) and has a cool "dog tag" form factor with the USB connector folding out of the "tag" for inserting into the USB port on your computer. In general, I also liked it because I didn't have a flash drive before, and it's nice to have even this small capacity one for transferring files. However, as a flash drive in general, I wouldn't recommend it over other flash drives.
First, it does have a small capacity compared to other drives of the same price, so while it was a neat freebie, I wouldn't recommend purchasing this item.
Also, it hasn't held up very well physically. While the "dog tag" form factor is kind of neat, I opted to remove the chain and attach the drive to my key ring, which I found very convenient (I always have my keys on me). However, within days, the BF 2142 logo was scratched, and a few days after that, the connector broke, allowing the drive to fall off the key ring, so that now it can no longer be attached to anything for convenience.
Lastly, while nice in concept, the folding USB connector often opens on its own, which is annoying.
As stated above, this was a neat freebie, but look to another, larger capacity flash drive if you're purchasing.
worst product.....6 years old ...sold as new...
worst product sold on line in the pas 5 years....vastly outdated..... should not be sold especially since it was produced 7 years ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! we need only good working products that are current with the existing operating systems.....BAD PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not To well thought out
yea i saw this unique controller and got it just to have an extra controller, when i finaly get it out of the box and put my hands on it i realised how uncomfortable it felt, the bar that conects the handgrips just gets in the way. so if you have big hands i would not recomend this controler
It is ok
I really did not care for the shape, just needed a spanish keyboard. However, it is currently no longer working, so I am unhappy, never had a keyboard fail on me so soon before (one year, but I have keyboards working from several years, no problem).
5 stars for ease of use - lose a star for build quality & Vista compatibility
The N.50 is to first person shooter games (like "Quake III Arena" or "Half-Life") what Thrustmaster products are to flight sim games: a programmable game controller designed with the idea that you need never touch your own keyboard again. With a shape suggesting a hand, the N.50 has 10 keys - in 2 rows of 5, a traditional 4-way keypad ala your console game-pad and, for those moments in which your thumb might get bored waiting to use the 4-way pad - and for those even rarer moments when you might need throttle control - a throttle wheel! Entirely programmable using bundled software, the N.50 can be customized to fit your preferences for the most convenient fragging. Though combining many controller functions, the N.50 does not replace your mouse, which would have freed up a USB slot. (On the other hand, it's not like you'll be scanning pictures and downloading from your digital camera while blasting your closest pals to a pulp in some virtual deathmatch; and anyway, there's probably a limit to how many functions a single controller can handle at a shot).
Fitting on your USB slot, the N.50 is a breeze to install. Belkin's "Profile Editor" makes it easy to map the keys for specific games. (The software that came with my N.50 was not optimized for Windows XP. An XP-friendly version was available on Belkin's website back in 2003; finding it online today may be more difficult).
Customizing keystrokes is incredibly easy - as compared to working the bugs out of my Thrustmaster setup. So far, I've used the N.50 on "Star Trek: Elite Force", both All three "Jedi Knight" games and the original "Half Life".
I am now totally spoiled for keyboards.
Two issues.
Build quality shows a shortcoming in relation to the directional keypad: even with practiced dexterity, I found that the control would sometimes move every way but the direction I actually wanted it to. Also, after about 6 years, one of the buttons has suddenly gotten stuck.
The other issue is that N50 will go no further than Win XP (and I can't even vouch for 64 bit version). Confirming that it still works on my older XP laptop, I have given up getting it to work on my Vista desktop. Though it shows up in "Control Panel", it does not appear connected as far as Belkin's "Profile Editor" is concerned - meaning that I can't customize keystrokes, which is a large part of the N50's reson d'etre. (Sp?) I have a Saitek X45 joystick that connects seamlessly - for all the hatemail MS got over Vista, the N50 is the only hardware that won't play ball.
Nevertheless, price-wise, the N.50 approximates a good programmable joystick. For ease of use, it's an indispensable peripheral for shooter games. If you're still running on XP, let this is your boomstick.
Good feel, lousy scroll
The mouse has a good feel to the finger placement, and overall feels pretty comfortable.
On the downside, the scroll wheel has major issues, tending to bounce up and down when you're scrolling in one direction, making it almost useless.
I picked this device up on the cheap, so I've stuck with it. But unlike the Nostromo gamepads, I wouldn't recommend anyone buy this.
small detail I love
This is a decent mouse - the rumble pack and 'edge sensing' stuff is pretty cool, but one thing I really, really like is the 'feel' of the mouse in my hand - specifically, the 'resting place' for my right thumb, just underneath the thumb button.
Most mice with thumb buttons I have found seem difficult to grip firmly without accidentally clicking the button. This mouse has a place where the thumb fits perfectly without clicking the button... but the button is a quick 'roll of the thumb' away. Kudos for this excellent detail that makes this mouse truly a joy to use.
The wrong title was sent
I have already responded to this and have got no action for you people yet. This was my very first purchase on Amazon and likely the last. The game the I received was NOT the one described. I only really wanted a version of Earth2150 that I could play with Vista. The cover of the CD looks the same as the image but the game is not on it! Please send me an authorization to send this back or send me the correct CD. I really want to play this game and I wont be mad if I can only get what I paid for.
So are you going to take care of this or whould you like to see a chargeback on your credit card statement?
Missing games, but still fun.
I searched the whole CD extensively and was unable to find 3 of the games. However, all 3 of the EArth 2150 games were good, and the inclusion of the walkthrough and strategy guide made it more fun for me. I didn't use cheat codes, but I definitely followed the guides to make the game more fun and less repetitive.
Lots of games for cheap
Bought these to play while I'm away from home. Can't beat the price for all you get. The games work with VISTA, you just have to tone down the graphics if you have a discrete card - don't think any of them work with 32bit. Not any award winning games, but good for passing the time. Quick shipping and worth the price.
