From the manufacturer
Thrustmaster is proud to unveil the world’s first five-axis, three-pedal Force Feedback racing wheel and pedal set. The Rally GT Force Feedback Pro Clutch Edition is so complete you may find yourself looking for the indicator switch! This groundbreaking three-pedal model is based on the massively popular RGT FFB Pro – the first five-axis wheel and pedal set on the market. The new model features a new full-size sequential gearshift knob, two new reinforced wheel-mounted sequential levers, twin wheel-mounted progressive levers, Force Feedback and belt-driven gear system with new metal collar, and now three adjustable pedals. The RGT FFB Pro Clutch Edition provides all the sensations of real driving – use the brake pedal with natural resistance, work the clutch, balance your power slides, throw the car into turns… and leave your opponents in the dust!
Your choice of driving style
The RGT Pro Clutch Edition caters equally well for demanding simulation drivers and novice gamers. Users can switch between using five axes and four axes with all three pedals via a switch located behind the base of the wheel, while Force Feedback can easily be toggled on and off with a press of a button. Advanced drivers can even set up the pedals for ‘heel-and-toe’ downshifting.
A new level of realism
State-of-the-art features, advanced functionality and superior build quality put the RGT FFB Pro Clutch Edition at the front of the grid. Gamers can not only get the most out of new racing games, but also rediscover their old titles, playing in a whole new, more realistic way.

Don't bother
I got this wheel to replace a momo red. I had high hopes but was quickly dissapointed when I took it out of the box and clamped it to my desk. The wheel was flimsy side to side (like it would brake off the shaft). It WAS quiet, but the force modelling was ridiculous with N2k3, fFactor and Live for Speed 2. It had some play in the middle which was extremely annoying. The advertisement for this product says that it is 270 degree rotation but it is only 240 !! Doesn't sound like a lot but it is!!
I talked to Thrustmaster support and they gave me a bunch of silly things to try to eliminate the dead zone but nothing helped so they said return it.
To be honest, I know you have to get used to a new wheel so I gave it a week of hard use and started to get used to it. I said "I can live with this I guess". Then,,,, POP! Something broke inside. Sounds like the belt drive. :(
Given that this thing feels cheaply made there was no way it was going to last like my Momo ($70 5 years ago!!). I returned it. Don't waste your money. At least go for a Driving force pro. Even the black Momo is better than this thing.
This could have been a great wheel
My black MOMO died, pedals quit working, so I needed a new wheel. I've had good luck with thrustmaster wheels in the past so I bought the Pro Clutch Edition. Basic setup was easy. I have two basic problems with the new wheel. First and worst is the mounting of the wheel to the desk. For the life of me I can't tighten the clamp enough to keep the wheel from "rocking back and forth" when you use it in a game. This is very disconcerning when trying to race. Its like trying to race with a tilting wheel that wont lock in place. My other complaint is with the software that comes with the wheel. There is no way of assigning the buttons to any of the F-Function keys. I play the NASCAR 2003 game and you use the F-keys ALOT during race. Another irratation is setting up to use the clutch pedal. I managed to make it work once, but next time could not make it work. Its on the same axis as the brake and there is no way to split it off.
I really thought this was going to be a great wheel for me, but I would have been just as well off the buy a much simpler, cheaper wheel.
Fun while it lasted...
I bought this wheel for use with GTR2, Race, Richard Burns Rally and the like. The force feedback is excellent. The mechanism is very strong, but also very quiet. It makes for a very engaging experience with the games listed above.
Build quality and materials are not in the same league as the Logitech G25, but keep in mind it's less than half it's price.
Unfortunately I'll be packing mine up to send it back for a replacement. Only two days after using it the force feedback mechanism broke. Mid-turn I heard a snap, and the wheel went loose. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the replacement will hold up.
I gave it a 4 star rating because while it worked it was very good. I'll give Thrustmaster the benefit of the doubt that the unit I received was in fact defective and this was not the result of a design flaw.
One thing I should mention - I couldn't seem to get the analog paddles on the wheel to work independently of the clutch pedal. I normally don't use the clutch in games though, so it wasn't a big problem for me.
