Standard Fox 2 Pro stick with Pseudo Force Feedback4
I bought one of these used off of Ebay (they're no longer available), but it appears to be in good working order for a review. The stick is basically a standard Thrustmaster Top Gun Fox 2 Pro stick with the addition of a small motor in the handle that has an attached off-center weight to add simulated Force Fedback functionality. There are pros and cons to this stick:

    Pros:
    1. It's a great Fox 2 Pro stick, probably the best and certainly the most popular programmable, simple, single-stick HOTAS on the market. Stick, throttle and rudders, all contained in one joystick. Go check out the Fox 2 Pro stick reviews to see what you'll be getting with this stick.
    2. It's a semi-force feedback stick but without the additional cords to plug in. The whole stick, FFB and all, operates off of the one single USB connector. Simple, clean and efficient. Well done.
    3. The Thrustmapper software that you use to control this stick is top notch. It automatically detects what game you're playing, and if you have a config file written for the stick, it automatically loads the config into the stick when you start the game. Fantastic concept.
    4. Though not true FFB, at least it's not a boring, old dead stick like everything else is. Even the $275 Cougar HOTAS in all its superior, heavy metal glory is still just a plain ol' boring dead stick with no FFB life to it whatsoever.
    5. Rudder control. This is a twist stick for rudder control, a nice addition over the original Fox 2 Pro. It's pretty sensitive, however, so twist lightly. It can also be disabled and locked at the base of the stick if you don't like the twisty function. Nice!

    Cons:
    1. It's "Shock", not Force Feeback. The little motor in the handle produces a precicely controlled buzzing vibration at different speeds and sensitivity in accordance with FFB game input, but it's far inferior to the rip-the-stick-out-of-your-hands feel fo true force feedback. It is generally a mild "rumbling" experience that responds well to FFB-enabled games. True FFB ans, like Microsoft Sidewider FFB owners, will be GREATLY dissappointed with this stick, however.
    2. The stick has a resistance knob on the bottom that allows you to stiffen the stick up so it's not so loose, but all it does is slightly stiffen it up to "less loose".
    3. This stick is no longer available. You have to buy them used from here or Ebay, which is what I did.

Reason I gave it 4 stars: Because it's a great Fox 2 Pro stick with the addition of some FFB functionality to it. Fantastic software and functionality. This cheap plastic stick will probably outlast my HOTAS Cougar (metal parts in the joysick world have always proven to wear out much faster than plastic parts, a fact that Thrustmaster refuses to acknowledge).

The reason it's not 5 stars: In a nutshell, even with the excellent software and semiFFB, it's still yet another cheap, plastic $30 stick. Best-of-breed cheap plastic $30 stick, though.
