Great WWII rts
I've been enjoying RTS's for years now and this was one of my favorite World War II games that I still play considering its age. With varying unit types and a great selection of vehicles, this was a pretty accurate portrayal of unit combat in a game. My only real gripes are poor multiplayer map setups and a few odd unit balancing issues. But overall, its a very enjoyable single player experience in campaigns and in scrimage.
This box set combines all the originals into one box.

beyond awesome
This is one of the greatest games ever made. The graphics are relatively basic, which is to be expected due to the fact the game was released in the late 90s I beleive, but the gameplay is extremely complex. There are dozens of maps providing many hours of satisfying gameplay. If you have a healthy amount of patience and you're looking for a challenging ww2 RTS game, you will not be disappointed with sudden strike. This is a great game to play on a rainy day when you have hours to kill. It's a game that requires extensive planning of your maneuvers and careful rationing of military resources. This is not like CNC where the game is largely focused on building a base, generating cash from mining or some similar activity, and then sending endless waves of newly manufactured tanks into the grinder. You're provided with a limited number of tanks and have to move slowly and carefully in many instances and make coordinated use of your units' varying capabilities.

All right, but much better out there...
This game was all right. I ordered it at the same time I ordered several other WWII RTS games. It may have been good in it's time, but Company of Heroes is MUCH better
