Game Elements HV-5 "XP Compatible" Steering Wheel
This steering wheel is NOT fully XP compatible, despite the claims on the packaging. The force feedback feature does not work under Windows XP (or Windows Vista, in case you were wondering). It does, however, work well under Windows 2000 and older Windows 98/Me versions.

With that said, it's not a bad wheel even without the force feedback features on XP (and even better under Win 2000, where the Force feedback works very nicely).

Cons: The pedals are cheap and easily broken. Misleading "XP compatible" claims on the package that tout force feedback features. It's not Playstation 2 compatible.

Pros: the wheel is a little smaller than some, but has a nice feel and has throttle and brake control tabs behind the wheel, plus several buttons and a D-pad, as well. No external AC is required, and the analog mode can be toggled on or off easily. (Tip: leave it on for best results!) Works natively as a supported game controller in XP and Windows Vista RTM. No loss of functionality if the pedals are disconnected. It's a decent looking unit that adheres to a smooth surface easily via four suction cupes.

Conclusion: For the price, I'm pleased with it.
